Google LIt Trips was first demo. This link is on Jennifer's links on our Teacher page. Like a Trip Tik for google earth.... following journeys in novels, non-fiction, etc.
Under Places (in Google Earth) you can create folders to organize "trips".

Utilize lots of stuff already existing for journeys, projects, etc.

Plus, there is an area of Google called "Google Lit Trips" that allow students to track information from their literature. One example was the journey from Oklahoma to California in "Grapes of Wrath." Students could visually see from a variety of angles the actual journey that is described in the novel! Very useful way for English teachers to apply Google Earth!
